William has been asking about Boy Scouts for about as long as Autumn has been in Girl Scouts. We kept putting it off thinking he wasn't quite sure what he was asking for. This year we decided that it might be a fun activity for him that he was ready to get involved in.
A couple of weeks ago we went to a recruitment night and signed him up. We were fortunate to place him in a den with a leader who is an OT, IBI trained and works with kids with autism. She was awesome.
So today we went to Boise to the Scout office to get his uniform. Will was so excited! And I was just about as excited as he was to see him in it. So cute! He read the 'Bears' handbook all the way home.
Seems like the timing is right for this activity for Will; how wonderful! Hope he loves being involved in it!

I cannot decide who is more handsome.....Russell going to the prom, or Will in his Cub Scout uniform. I am so happy for Will. Scouting is the best!!!!!!! Have fun in scouts, Will!
