Will, as he sits next to me playing with a favorite toy dinosaur: "Maybe we can dig for Grandma Mathews bones at the museum if they have her bones at the museum."
Me, turning wide eyed to look at him: "No..... Grandma Mathews bones are buried in the casket. Remember the funeral?"
Will: " Oh Yeah! but maybe we can dig for them."
Me: "No Honey, Grandma Mathews needs to stay there."
Back to playing with his dinosaur.
William talks of Grandma Mathews often. He still questions that she'll be gone forever. He stills says, 'poor Grandma Mathews'. And he even points out when he sees the year 1908 that is when 'tiny little grandma Mathews' lived. I know he's still trying to process the funeral from last month. I think it's good and I don't mind answering all of his innocent questions. They just take me off guard when we are sitting quietly on couch.
**** those of you waiting on CD's from last month's service - I haven't forgotten about you. I'm having some technical difficulites that will be resolved soon. They WILL be mailed, hopefully soon. thank you.****
