We never considered ourselves a 'sports family'. Now I find our Sept. calendar filled with volley ball games, football games, practices, and horseback riding lessons. Whew! Super proud of the kids though for getting out there, trying their best and having fun.
This was Autumn's first volley ball game. Tim couldn't make it because he was taking Will to Boise for horseback riding at the same time.
Despite the ball hitting a light bulb in the ceiling and crashing down on top of them, they did great and won! I guess those 6 am practices are paying off.
Russell has been at practice every afternoon in the late summer heat. This is the stack of practice shirts that come home dripping wet everyday. (he does his own laundry)
Leaving for school this morning wearing his varsity jersey. (still half asleep I think). Tonight's game is at the BSU stadium. We've never been inside there so it should be a fun night.
Who would have thought - Tara and Tim's kids are athletes?? How did that happen?
GOOOO Kelly Kids! rah Rah ree... kick 'em in the knee..... rah rah rass... kick 'em in the other knee!!!!
